A Tender Ritual of Whispered Blessings, Shared Presence & Fire-Born Intention
Designed for intimate weddings of up to 20 people, the Bouquet of Good Intentions Ritual brings your closest circle into your ceremony in a quiet, heartfelt way.
Before the ceremony begins, the officiant invites each guest — one at a time — to hold the bouquet briefly and whisper a personal intention, blessing, or hope into the flowers. These aren’t speeches; they are soft, private wishes shared only between your loved ones and the petals that carry their meaning. As the bride comes to the aisle, she picks up the bouquet of Intentions.
Then, just before your ring exchange, the bouquet is placed onto the fire.
This timing is intentional: burning the bouquet clears your hands, clears the energy, and symbolizes the release of well-wishes into the next moment of your ceremony — the giving of rings.
Your rings become the next object you hold — not the past, not the preparations — but one another.
Symbolism
Blessings From Your Inner Circle
Your closest loved ones infuse the bouquet with their wishes for your marriage — love, peace, longevity, joy, protection, warmth, and hope.
Carrying Their Hopes Into Your Ceremony
Walking into the ceremony with this bouquet means carrying their intentions with you as you say your vows.
Fire as Release & Activation
Burning the bouquet transforms whispered blessings into rising smoke, sending them forward as you step into your marriage.
Hands Free for the Ring Exchange
The burn occurs immediately before the rings are warmed, smudged, or exchanged, symbolically freeing both partners to hold each other — and the symbols of their vows — without anything else in their hands.
Transition & Threshold
The bouquet burn marks the last act of your pre-married life.
The ring exchange marks the first act of your married one.
