Our Maiden to Mother Blessingway Ceremony offers a soulful alternative to the traditional baby shower; weaving together ritual, nature and sisterhood on the shores of Georgian Bay. This is a heartfelt gathering, guided with intention and care, to honour the transition into motherhood in the most meaningful way.
*This event is for 12 people. Additional guests may be added, up to 20 total, for an additional charge.
What To Expect
- A fully facilitated ceremony led by Christy—ordained officiant, former Birth Doula and Lactation Consultant with 10+ years of experience holding space for sacred transitions.
- A curated flow of rituals and blessings designed to uplift and nourish the mother-to-be.
- A beautifully styled altar of motherhood, adorned with flowers, candles and sacred objects.
- Catered seasonal fare and whimsical refreshments; all locally sourced.
- Keepsake blessing booklet filled with wisdom, pledges and love from the circle.
- A gathering infused with sisterhood, empowerment and heartfelt connection.

Ceremony Flow & Rituals
- Sacred Opening Circle – Calling in the directions and elements under the moonlight.
- Foot Bath Ritual – A gentle cleansing with herbs and petals, blessing each step into motherhood.
- Offerings at the Altar of Motherhood – Guests place tokens, flowers or crystals with spoken blessings.
- Whispered Words of Wisdom – Guests form a circle and whisper encouragement as they walk around the mother-to-be.
- Playlist of Empowerment – Each guest contributes a song, co-creating a soundtrack for labour.
- Postpartum Pledges – Guests promise to support the new mother (meal trains, childcare, companionship).
- Circle of Candlelight – Each guest lights a candle when labour begins, sending unified energy and love.
